Integrative Psychotherapy for the Whole Self

ABOUT ME

I received my Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Individualized Study from New York University. I have a diverse background that informs my psychotherapy work, from my first career in the music industry, to a lifelong yoga practice. As a social worker, I am trained to consider all aspects of your experience, from your environment

My experience in social work and psychotherapy began on Skid Row where I worked with the unhoused community and began my training in trauma work. I then went on to continue my practice at Pasadena Trauma Therapy where I was extensively trained in working with CPTSD and dissociation. As a queer therapist, I deeply enjoy working with fellow queer individuals that have trauma backgrounds. I have supported folks through anxiety, depression, PTSD/CPTSD, life changes, attachment issues, boundary struggles, nervous system dysregulation, relationship and intimacy issues, and more.

I am a native New Yorker who is now happy to call Los Angeles home. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, cooking, and exploring the beautiful nature that California has to offer. I feel honored to do this work and witness my clients in moments of vulnerability and transformation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are curious about how we might work together.

APPROACH

I believe that we all possess an inherent ability to heal and align with the highest, most true version of our selves. In our work together, I will work to cultivate a space of co-regulation, compassion, and curiosity. The most important thing to me is that you feel safe, contained, and supported in the therapy room. When we create safety within the therapeutic relationship, we make space for insight, change, and relational healing outside the therapy room.

Folks often come to me when the layers of protection and ways of surviving that they have developed throughout their lives are no longer working. Our work together will help us understand these old patterns, as well as begin to shift them into something that makes more sense for the now. We will honor old versions of your self as we make space for new neural networks and ways of being.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and utilizes a variety of modalities, tailored to the needs of each person, including all the services provided below.

Brainspotting

A technique that works with the body and brain to release stuck trauma. Brainspotting helps us connect with evocative eye positions that can help us clear out emotional distress.

Parts Work

We all have different “parts” of ourselves that form over time, often to help keep us safe in different circumstances. By identifying and understanding these parts, we can heal inner conflicts and create more harmony within the self. Parts work can help us address deep emotional wounds, improve self-awareness, and develop healthier coping mechanisms by fostering compassion and integration among parts.

TRM (Trauma Resiliency Model)

A somatic modality that helps us understand and bring balance to the nervous system and process distress that has been held in the body. I will help you develop a toolbox of regulation skills that you can integrate into your everyday life to achieve more balance and peace

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

A structured trauma processing approach that will help process stuck traumatic memories in order to reduce the grip that they have on your current life. EMDR is excellent at reducing emotional charge attached to old, upsetting experiences
